Ingredients & Method
- 200-300gr Steak of your choosing.
- 1 Porton Favourite Chips.
- For the veg; 1 vine of cherry tomatoes.
- For the sauce; 1 Sachet of your favourite peppercorn sauce.
Step 1
Remove all outer packaging, pat dry and leave on chopping board until the steak has reached room temperature.
Step 2
Put chips into a pre-heated oven and pre-heat a large frying pan or griddle until hot enough for the oil to sizzle.
Step 3
Just before cooking the steak season liberally with sea salt and some cracked black pepper, then rub lightly with olive oil of your choosing.
Step 4
Sear the steak on both sides on high heat, then turn down to medium and cook for 3-4 minutes either side, occasionally pouring some of the meat juices over the steak. When nearly done toss in your vine tomatoes to heat through.
Step 5
Heat up your chosen peppercorn sauce, plate up the steak and chips and tomatoes then drizzle over as much peppercorn sauce as you like.
Step 6
All you need to do now is sit back and enjoy your fantastic meal.
